Salah Zater, TV journalist from Libya Salah Zater (28 years old) worked as a reporter for the private Libyan television stations Al-Assema TV and AL-Nabaa from 2010 to 2014. Because of his reporting on child labor, sexual abuse, drug and arms trafficking, corruption and human rights violations in general, he came under fire from government representatives and militias alike. He regularly received death threats for his reports on kidnappings, torture and the murder of prisoners in Libyan prisons.
