The journalist, lawyer and human rights activist
has been targeted by the government of South Ossetia, particularly as deputy chairwoman of the Georgian-Ossetian Civil Forum. She has been attacked, arrested and threatened several times for organizing discussion groups abroad with Georgian and Ossetian journalists and human rights lawyers who are unwelcome to the government and its Russian advisors (see her blog: www.roks-alana.livejournal.com.)
